Methods to solve sandblasting tank failures

The sandblasting tank has no compressed air and no abrasive material. Possible reasons: 

1. The compressed air of the sandblasting tank is not turned on. 

2. The set pressure of the pressure regulator is too low. 

3. The foot is not properly adjusted or is damaged. 

4. The sandblasting or abrasive valve is clogged. 

5. The safety air circuit is off. 

6. The main pressure regulator of the sandblaster is broken.

 7. The control pressure regulator is broken. 

Solutions: 

1. Open the air source of the sandblasting tank.

 2. Adjust the pressure to above 0.5-0.6MP. 

3. Adjust or replace the foot switch.

 4. Clean the nozzle or abrasive valve of the sandblasting tank or reinstall it. 

5. Check the valves on the safety air circuit.

 6. Check the main pressure regulator of the sandblaster. 

7. Check the valve of the sandblaster. 

Sandblaster and sandblasting room fault: Good sand enters the dust bag. Possible reasons: 

1 The new dust bag has large pores.

 2. The sand is too fine.

 Solutions: 

1. It can be eliminated after general for 8 hours.

 2. Use coarser sand. 

Sandblaster and sandblasting room fault: Sand leakage. Possible reasons: The bag has holes or is not clamped tightly. Solutions: Replace the dust bag and re-clamp it tightly. Sandblaster fault: Poor visibility duringblasting. Possible reasons: 

1. The dust bag is clogged.

 2. The dust bag is aged and blocked. 

3 The sand contains too much dust. 

4. The compressed air pressure is too high. 

Solutions: 

1. Shake the dust bag of theblaster. 

2. Replace the dust bag of the sandblaster. 

3. Replace the sand. 

4. Adjust to the pressure of the sandblaster.
